The EHX Octave Multiplexer Analog Sub-Octave Generator delivers deep, phat bass tones one octave below the notes you play. Run your vocals through it and sound just like Ike Turner. This is a monophonic device and works only on single notes.

Our Verdict
When it comes to bass emulators, this is a clear winner in our opinion. Not what we’d call an octave pedal in the traditional sense, but definitely one to get your hands on if you’re seeking a bass sound. Overall, the pedal may be too huge for some, but Electro Harmonix certainly required a larger pedal to accommodate all of that bass and octave awesomeness!
While it didn’t take first place in our octave pedal guide, it is without a doubt the best bass octave emulation we’ve come across, and at a very reasonable price.
